Valor Vets for Pets

Our "Why"

It is no secret that rising costs and inflation have impacted the cost of operating a veterinary hospital and as a result, the cost of care for owners and their pets.

According to the Federal Reserve Board's Economic Well-Being of US Households Report 2022: 37% of Americans are not equipped to handle a hypothetical $400 emergency expense. Bankrate's 2023 Annual Emergency Savings Report reveals that a majority of Americans: 57%, lack the funds to cover a hypothetical $1000 emergency expense and 22% of adults have no emergency savings.

We aimed to devise a solution to assist both pet owners and their animals facing dire situations, ensuring it wouldn't compromise our ongoing ability to serve the community. We discovered our answer through a partnership with MyBalto Foundation, empowering generous donors to contribute funds directly to a 501c3 organization in our name, enabling us to utilize these resources within our hospital.
